What patients say on Google

“Was seeing Dr Vaughan for years. She WILL withhold your medication. She does not care if you go through withdrawal or not. I do not have any controlled medications, nor changes to my meds. I am sick and did not cancel my appointment, just called and asked it to be telehealth, and was told by the very impatient and biased front desk people that I would not be getting refills without her seeing me face to face. Using medication refills as leverage especially when no controlled substances are involved is unethical. People with mental health issues cannot afford to miss medications. Again, I am sick and only asked to move my appt to online. Because I cannot physically come in (contagious flu virus that has been going around), they will not refill my medications. She also pushed ozempic on me when I told her I was having body image issues. (I am the medically average weight for my height and age). And that broke trust for me. The one star goes to samanda, she knows how to speak to someone with mental health issues. Two thumbs down for Debbie”

“Front desk staff very transparent about cost and setting up expectations for the visit. However, when I arrived, I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time to be called back (which at the time I was ok with BECAUSE I assume that they are with patients who require their attention and that I will be given the same courtesy when it's my turn). Once I was in there, everything felt rushed and I was given four diagnosis in 30 minutes! She also asked me if I was planning on having kids and I said not right now, I'd like to figure out my body first. And she said good, someone with your issues shouldn't be having children..... I wanted to evaporate right there! I only went there because I was trying to seek help for suspected ADHD and felt so bad about myself when I left, I cried for 30 minutes! All this happened in half an hour when my "evaluation" was supposed to take 90. I could have filled out the questionnaires she used online, myself, for free. In fact, I have. That's why I was seeking help for ADHD. I won't be going back. So kudos to the front desk staff, but 2 thumbs down for the psychiatrist.”

“Best Mental Health Provider in Prescott AZ (Doesn’t accept insurance, but reasonable prices for infrequent visits)”

“Staff is super nice and helpful. It was tough to get it in anytime before a month in advance but it was certainly worth the wait.”
