ReNew Wellness | Ketamine Therapy

“This review is overdue because I’ve been trying to figure out how to put into words what ReNew Wellness has done for me without turning a Google review into an autobiography. I’m a retired veteran after 22 years of active-duty service, and I’ve dealt with PTSD, major depression, anxiety, and significant chronic pain for years. Add a pretty impressive case of ADHD, and I’m not always the easiest patient to schedule, reschedule, organize, or occasionally keep from being a grumpy old veteran. I was referred to ReNew Wellness through my VA mental health provider, and from the beginning, my experience with their clinical providers, nurses, medical assistants, and patient coordinators has been exceptional. January, PMHNP, has been incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure my treatments are safe and effective. She listens, explains things clearly, and never makes me feel like I’m just another appointment on the schedule. The RNs Sara, Ciarah, and Jackie are outstanding. They are highly experienced nurses with emergency-room backgrounds, and you can absolutely tell. Their professionalism, confidence, calm, and attention to detail make a huge difference during ketamine therapy. Their medical assistants, Annye and Teigan, are just as important to what makes ReNew such a great place. They are caring, attentive, patient, and always make sure you are comfortable. I also cannot leave out Jazmyn and Paris, their patient coordinators. These two deserve medals for the patience they have shown me while scheduling, rescheduling, answering questions, dealing with VA authorization issues, and keeping this ADHD-powered train somewhere near the tracks. They always make me feel welcome and never rushed. What separates ReNew Wellness from other medical facilities I’ve been treated at is simple: the people here genuinely care. I’ve had ketamine infusions while I was still on active duty, and they helped, so I already had experience with this treatment, but my experience at ReNew has been on another level. For me personally, these treatments have been remarkable. I can walk into an infusion dealing with substantial chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and mental exhaustion, and walk out feeling dramatically different. There have been treatments where my pain has been reduced to almost nothing, and my depression and anxiety have essentially disappeared for days and sometimes weeks. That kind of relief is hard to explain to someone who has never lived with chronic pain or depression. When you spend years learning how to function while hurting physically and mentally, even a few days of feeling like yourself again means more than people realize. I could write a lot more about the ways ReNew Wellness and it's staff have helped me, but I don’t want this review to be a “TLDR” 🤣 For veterans especially, or anyone struggling with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, or chronic pain who has been referred for ketamine therapy, I highly recommend giving ReNew Wellness a chance. To January, Sara, Ciarah, Jackie, Annye, Teigan, Jazmyn, Paris, and everyone else at ReNew Wellness: thank you for your professionalism, patience, humor, and most importantly, for genuinely caring about the people sitting in those infusion chairs.
